Before the aldermen named below appeared Anne Peck, born at Laun(d)e in Nottinghamshire in the Kingdom of England, assisted in this matter by William Brewster, her chosen guardian. In the best form available to her, she appointed and authorised Thomas Simkinson, merchant of Hull in England, to collect amicably the seven pounds sterling owed to her by Mr Watkins, minister of the Divine Word at Clarborough in Nottinghamshire. She had entrusted that money to him for safekeeping when she left England.

Simkinson may give a valid receipt for the money and do everything required to recover it, even if a more specific authority would otherwise be needed. Anne promised to uphold everything he lawfully did, provided that he rendered a proper account of what he received. Done 12 June 1609.
