Registered on the 14th of August 1629: Edmont Willemsz, alias Weyt, flannel-worker, bachelor from England, living outside the Sijlepoort, accompanied by Joris Boson, living near the Seylepoort, with Grietgen Boomen, spinster likewise from England, living also outside the Sijlepoort, accompanied by Annetgen Bersaeu, living also near the Sijlepoort.

These banns have been provisionally suspended by the burgomasters of this city at the request of Joris Winter, Englishman, residing at Amsterdam, who stated that he had entered into a promise of marriage with Grietgen Boomen. Done the last day of September 1629.
