Heemskerc, authorized representative of Pinias Eduwaert, plaintiff, versus Salomon Blanck, defendant, for payment of twenty guilders eight stuivers, on account of fifty-one pounds of pure combed wool. He concludes for the condemnation thereof, with costs.

In the margin: The aldermen record: default; the declinatory plea forfeited; condemned in 3 stuivers; a second summons granted. Done 24 January 1611.

The aldermen, it appearing that the defendant, having been duly summoned three times, never appeared in court, nor was any attorney or representative seen on his behalf, having heard the plaintiff's register and his declaration, and having considered all that might move them to do right, condemn the defendant to lay down and pay the money claimed — deducting 2 stuivers for the weigh-house fee advanced thereon — together with the costs of this suit, at their taxation. Done 24 October 1611.

Heemskerc gemachtigt van Pinias Eduwaert eyscher contra Salomom Blanck gedaechde om betalinge te hebben van twintich guldens acht stuyvers ter saecke van eenenvijftich ponden suver bruwier wolle. Concludeert tot condemnatie vandien mitte costen. In de marge: Schepenen deffault versteecken van declinatoir condemneren in III stuvers verlenen IIe citatie. Actum 24-1-1611. Schepenen IIe deffault versteecken van declinatoir condemneren in III stuvers verlenen IIIe citatie. Actum 22-4-1611. Schepenen IIIe deffault versteecken van peremptoir condemneren in III stuvers admitteren tot overleveringe van intendit. Actum 10-6-1611. Schepenen gebleecken sijnde dat de gedaechde tot driemalen toe behoorlicken verdachvaert zijnde, noyt in rechte es gecompareert of noch procureur of gemachtigt van sijnen twegen gesien des eyschers register gehoort sijne verclaringe op alles gelet dat heeft mogen bewegen, doen recht condemneren den gedaechde de geeyschte penningen afslaende II stuvers over ‘t waechgelt daer op verschoten, opte leggen ende te betalen, mitsgaders in de costen van dese instantie tot heurluyder tauxatie.
